Bowls for Beds – Supporting Local Youth at Risk of Homelessness
For the past 10 years, our community has gathered for Bowls for Beds, a warm and fun event that fills both bellies and hearts! Due to Covid-19, we can’t come together in person, but we are still together in spirit and community. Please help us raise the $24,000 still badly needed. Your support will help us continue our work in helping transform the lives of local youth at risk of homelessness, while also supporting these youth through these unprecedented times.Contact Deb Piggott for your bowl: email@example.com
OUR BOWL GOAL: 240 Bowls
In order to recover the $24,000 we would have raised at our annual event (this is our 11th year!) we need to sell 240 bowls! We are half-way there and can’t do it with you. Help us reach our goal by buying a locally-painted bowl.
How it works
Created and painted by local students, one bowl can be yours for $100.
You will receive a tax receipt of $89 (Or $100 without bowl).
All bowls will be delivered.
(Psst…..these bowls make excellent Mother’s Day gifts)

About the event
Last year’s event was a huge success. We had over 500 people join us at the Georgian Bay Hotel & Conference Centre to sample soups from 22 local restaurants and chefs in South Georgian Bay. In preparation for the event, local school children learned about homelessness in our community and painted the bowls for the event. A huge thank you to our restaurants & chefs; our participating schools; silent auction donors; sponsors; volunteers and attendees for making this such an incredible success!
