Ride for Hope
Biking from Collingwood to Ohio

The Mission
Being homeless puts our youth at risk for mental health problems, substance abuse, victimization, criminal activity, unsafe sexual practices, and barriers to education and employment. Our Goal is to help fund those who help prevent our youth from going through this experience through a variety of supports, from homelessness prevention, to transitional housing.
We hope to use Tim's ride from Collingwood to Ohio to bring awareness to youth homelessness and raise some money to support youth who are at risk.
His departure date is set for Sept 28th 2024, with the goal to arrive in Bainsbridge, Ohio by Oct 3rd, and impressive 875km. He will need to keep above an average of 145km per day or about 15km/hr for 10hrs a day.
Announcing Art U Wear Gives Back
Home Horizon is excited to announce a fundraising initiative in partnership with Art U Wear www.artuwear.ca a new Collingwood-based business offering fashion and home décor accessories featuring beautiful South Georgian Bay imagery. We will be partnering with them as part of the Art U Wear Gives Back program. For every order you place from their website using the code HHOR20, Art U Wear will donate 20% of the total purchase price to Home Horizon.
This is a great way for you to find yourself or a loved one a beautiful and unique piece of wearable art while buying local and supporting Home Horizon. Be sure to check out their website, particularly with Mother’s Day (and Father’s Day) right around the corner!
